2009 Competition Schedule: The 2009 Chesapeake Open schedule is now available, please be sure to check back regularly as this schedule is subject to change. 2009 Chesapeake Open Schedule (Revised June 22nd, 2009) This schedule contains slight time changes.

2009 Competition Groups: The 2009 Chesapeake Open groups are now available. 2009 Chesapeake Open Groups (Revised June 13th, 2009)Please note that these groups have been slightly revised.

Practice Ice: Additional information will be posted shortly. If you would like to make sure that you get the practice ice that your looking for please contact Brienne Fisk at tff@comcast.net

Competition Protocols: Please note: Competitors will still receive their individual protocol sheets, but we will not be supplying complete event protocols to individual competitors. Instead complete event protocols will be posted on our website by July 3rd.

Planned Program Content Forms: If you are registered for an IJS event at this year's event, you are required to complete the Planned Program Element form online at http://www.usfigureskating.org. This form can be found in the Members Only section of the US Figure Skating website.

Go to online event registration > event manager > program content > 6/26/09 15th Annual Chesapeake Open> add new form.

Planned Program Element forms must be completed by 6/13/09.

ISU Rule Changes: Please note that any charges made during the ISU's upcoming General Meeting will be in effect at this year’s competition.

USFS Rule Changes: Please note any charges made during the US Figure Skating's Governor's Counsel will be in effect at this year’s competition.

ISU Technical Dance Seminar: Thank you for the great response, this event is full. This year the Chesapeake Open will be hosting an ISU Technical Dance Seminar with Judy Blumberg on Sunday June 28th, 2009 from 7:30 am till Noon. For more information please click the following link. 2009 Chesapeake Open Official Hotel: The Official Hotel for the 2009 Chesapeake Open is The Comfort Inn Capital Beltway and is located 2 miles away for the Gardens Ice House. Rooms have been reserved for the competition at a group rate of $109 per night.

To insure that you receive this rate. Reservations must be made by June 9th, 2009 and please be sure to let the reservation staff that your looking for the Chesapeake Open room rate. Please note that after June 9th you will no longer be able to reserve rooms at the competition rate.
