Instructors

Private lessons are available through the skating professionals associated with our club. These skating professionals have the credentials to coach skaters at all levels and in all aspects of figure skating. They are members of the USFS, the governing body of figure skating and the Professional Skaters Association (PSA), the governing body of skating professionals. All of our pros are fully insured and bonded and pursue continuing education to stay at the top of their field.

Practice Ice Sessions for Freestyle and Ice Dance Programs

The Baltimore Figure Skating Club offers fall, winter and spring practice ice sessions for our members – from beginner to advanced skaters – training in moves in the field, free skating and ice dancing.

These high-quality sessions ensure that you will have adequate space to train with appropriate regulations to promote good sportsmanship and safety. Our ice time is offered at the Mt. Pleasant Ice Arena, a rink that measures 200 X 85 feet with rounded corners.

Test Sessions and Club Competitions

Our club sponsors a number of test sessions during the skating season. These test sessions give you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills before certified skating judges, measure your progress and become qualified for USFS-sanctioned competitions.
